How SiteSURV Works
Using SiteSURV starts with changing the DNS on your Internet access point (computer, router, or server) to point to CyberPatrol’s SiteCAT rather than your ISP. All Web site requests are then routed to SiteCAT before access to the site is granted.
Web site requests are compared against CyberPatrol’s list of good and undesirable Web sites. Request to access known good sites are automatically allowed. Requests to go to sites deemed undesirable by CyberPatrol are blocked. Blocked sites include porn, adult sites, gambling and other common objectionable categories of Web sites. Sites not on either list are allowed.
CyberPatrol’s database of Web sites is continually updated assuring the most accurate and updated list possible.
