Emerald's spider technologies are broken into two components called a "web spider" and
a "spider engine". This allows for flexible and distributed placement in a multi
server network.
Analysis Tools
Emerald's suite of tools use a snap-in interface allowing the rapid design and deployment
of entirely new tools on the fly.
Emerald employ's both human and mechanical means in its site examination process.
Each tool is stand alone from the other and offers their own advantages. Together
they close the gap on error and allow for highly accurate categorization of sites.
Storage
Emerald specializes in mass storage systems that are extremely fast at random data
access all while load balancing.
Emerald's storage technologies allow the user to store an incredibly large amount
of data across an array of storage nodes, view the distrabution of the data graphically,
and maintain the data all with a single system.
Stop and Dig
Stop and dig is a patent pending process that can be incorporated into spam filters as an additional layer of content filtration.
Emerald originally developed it's Stop and Dig technology for use in its own product
"Emerald Spam Shield". The technology has since been packeged into an SDK for use
by other companies.
Real Time List
Emerald's real time list acts both as an RBL and an RWL.
This real time list is one of many ways to access Emerald's ever growing categorized database.
